Do you charge for a consultation? At this time we are not charging for consultations that are thirty (30) minutes or less and that are given by ZOOM or over the telephone. COVID has changed the way we handle consultations and we strive to ensure our staff's safety, as well as the safety of any potential client or existing client. However, we still see people in person on a limited case by case basis. All in person consultations are charged a nominal fee.

Where do you practice at?While I am licensed in the State of Texas, I generally perform legal services involving court appearances in Hardin, Tyler, Jasper, Newton, Orange and Jefferson Counties. However, your legal issues may not require court intervention and may be able to be handled outside of court. If you are unsure if our firm can handle your legal matter, please call us directly so that one of our friendly staff members can assist you.

Do you take payments for your services? For the most part, yes. However, our firm being able to offer a payment plan to a client depends on several factors, 1) the type of case you have; 2) the complexity of your case; and 3) the amount of time estimated to conclude your matter. Some, but not all, of our cases require you to pay a deposit at the beginning of your case. We bill all of the work performed on your matter against the deposit that you have paid. Sometimes your deposit is enough to cover our services performed on your case, and sometimes it is not enough, and you will be required to pay an additional deposit. We strive to be transparent about our fees and costs and that is why we address all of your concerns about attorney's fees, costs, deposits, and payment plans at the end of every consultation.
